PSI 2013 EAB BOARD ELECTIONS

For decades, the business that Tim Boulden’s grandfather and great uncle began in 1946 operated in nearly every home service business you can imagine. By the time Tim took over and joined Plumbers’ Success International as a Founder in 1999, the company was generating revenues of over $13 million with 125 employees. But they struggled every day and every month to be profitable, and Tim faced the same worries again and again. That’s when a meeting with Jim Abrams set Tim on course to establish a new vision for his company. He started implementing PSI tools and consolidated the many interests of his company into a few, core trades. Today, in addition to his plumbing service company, Boulden operates a One Hour Air Conditioning and Mister Sparky franchises as well as a Propane Gas Delivery business specializing in residential gas service. “I wouldn’t be in the service businesses if it weren’t for PSI,” Boulden said. “And if you don’t implement the tools, they won’t do you any good on the shelf!”TIM BOULDEN

At 24 years old, Jimmy Hiller had topped out in his career for the plumbing company he had been working with in Nashville, TN. With no room for advancement, Jimmy decided that in order to control his own destiny and benefit from his own determination and ambition, he needed to start his own company. When he started Hiller Plumbing Company in 1990, he had one employee -- himself -- and one truck. Hiller Plumbing started in 1990 with a concentration in new construction plumbing. During that time, Jimmy focused on growing the business to obtain larger and larger new construction jobs for the company. In 1998 Jimmy added residential service to the Hiller product line. The following year Jimmy joined a new organization called Plumbers Success International. It was through its relationship with PSI that Hiller was able to install many of its customer service policies. In order to succeed in residential services, Hiller needed to offer the best service to insure a long term relationship with the customer.JIMMY HILLER
