Each Expo, your SGI event staff team contracts with the hotel to reserve an immense room block to accommodate virtually every member—at the cheapest rate possible. For the first time in Expo history, our room block at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio has SOLD OUT prior to our publicized registration cutoff date. Thankfully, there are one of three ways you can still attend Expo:
- SGI has contracted 20 additional rooms at the rate of $199/night with the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk, which is mere steps from the Hyatt. (Expires Sunday 3/17/19) If you want one of these rooms, you must book NOW by clicking this link: https://www.marriott.com/events/start.mi?id=1552422169658&key=GRP
- You can still secure a room at the San Antonio Grand Hyatt, home of your SGI Spring Expo; however, you will pay an elevated rate. Currently the Grand Hyatt’s website shows rooms no cheaper than $276/night. And those rooms continue to climb in price.
- You could find another hotel property that better fits your needs and/or budget. The Marriott Rivercenter and the Hilton Palacio del Rio are all within a block of the Grand Hyatt, but they are all selling for around $230 – 260/night. There is a LaQuinta San Antonio Riverwalk that is 2-3 blocks away that is selling for $140/night. Be warned, ALL hotels in the Riverwalk area are booking rapidly.
- After you book your hotel, be sure to go to www.registerforsuccess.com to register for Expo. You must register for Expo and pick your sessions in order to attend!
You have options to still attend what is officially the LARGEST Expo in the almost 20-year history of SGI. More than 1,300 have registered, and we anticipate more!
