Expo will be here before you know it! It’s being held at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida, October 25 to 27. You are welcome to begin registering NOW! To do so, simply go to your member website and click on the large panel in the middle of the screen that says “2017 Fall Expo.”

Here are the excursions available to you:

8 am-1:30 pm
4th Annual SGI EXPO CLASSIC ($115 per person)
Enjoy a great round of golf at the Shingle Creek Golf Resort by joining your fellow SGI members at the 4th Annual SGI Classic Golf Tournament. Competitions include best score, longest drive, and closest to the pin. After the tournament, savor a luncheon with your fellow golfers at the resort. Tournament fee includes the greens fee, cart, sleeve of balls, two drink tickets, lunch, and a tournament-logoed golf shirt.

SeaWorld Behind the Scenes ($295.95 per person)
Your SeaWorld Tour is a three-hour guided tour that provides you with an opportunity to see the best of SeaWorld-stress-free! Everyone is guaranteed to hit the highlights in this exclusive group tour, which gives guests a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to touch a shark, interact with a penguin, and get a behind-the-scenes look at SeaWorld’s rescue and rehabilitation program.

Dolphin Encounter: Spend up-close time with bottlenose dolphins at Dolphin Cove, and you’ll quickly understand what makes these clever characters one of the park’s most popular animals. You’ll learn how SeaWorld’s animal team takes care of these amazing mammals and you’ll have the opportunity to touch the dolphins while the park photographer captures that special moment.

Behind-the-Scenes Tour: Do you want to see what happens behind the scenes? Your knowledgeable tour guide will provide fascinating facts about SeaWorld and its commitment to wildlife. Go behind the scenes to discover how SeaWorld’s animal experts care for rescued manatees and sea turtles, plus you’ll get to touch and interact with a penguin.

Shark Close-Up Tour: Separate shark facts from fiction as you explore their incredible diversity and design. Dare to peer down into the 700,000-gallon aquarium to discover how SeaWorld cares for these perfect predators. Then, touch a small shark and find out these ancient species need our help more than ever.

Revolution Off Road ($266 per person)
Revolution is a unique motor and watersport experience, offering an affordable, exciting, and achievable adventure in an informal fun setting, but with maximum regard to safety. They have 220 acres of some of the most picturesque land in Florida, a lake for watersports, and purpose-built tracks and trails to give you the thrill of a lifetime. You will have two exciting activities you can enjoy:

Mucky Ducks: This is an 8-wheeled, amphibious-adventure vehicle which can run over the land and in the water. They have tailor-made trails that allow you to get up close and personal with the beautiful Floridian wilderness. This is a unique opportunity to drive through the wooded areas and then plunge into the lake and wetlands.

Skeet Shooting: Have you always thought you’d like to learn how to shoot clays? Well here is an opportunity to learn how! Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned shooter, you will be welcome to join one of the trained instructors at the target range. The instructors will ensure that all your goals are met and that you have an enormously enjoyable time. Included are 30 clays and cartridges.

Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom ($116 per person-each person MUST be 16+ years of age)
Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour highlights the fascinating history of Walt Disney World Resort and provides backstage access to secret areas of the Magic Kingdom Theme Park. This approximately 4.5-hour walking tour explores the stories behind the remarkable creation and growth of the Magic Kingdom Theme Park. Hear the intriguing story of Walt Disney and learn how his innovative ideas, revolutionary visions, creative philosophies, and amazing accomplishments brought the theme park to life. The journey includes stops at backstage facilities and a variety of favorite attractions.

One unforgettable highlight is a trip below the Magic Kingdom Theme Park into the service tunnels known as the Utilidors. This is one urban legend that is absolutely, and almost unbelievably, true-the guest-accessible areas of the Magic Kingdom Theme Park are on the second floor of a massive structure. The first floor-called the Utilidors-allows cast members, deliveries, and even trash to be unknowingly transported below guests’ feet as they wait in line for their favorite attraction.

Everglades Tour ($124 per person)
A visit into the Florida Everglades will be the wildest adventure you’ll experience in Central Florida. The Everglades start here! Enjoy a closer look at alligators & exotic wildlife as you glide through 4,200 acres of untouched nature preserve on an exclusive airboat ride. Experience a part of Florida that hasn’t changed much from when early pioneers arrived in covered wagons in the 1800s. Climb aboard a U.S. Coast Guard-certified airboat and catch a glimpse of alligators, eagles, turkeys, wild boars, roseate spoonbills, and other native creatures. Or stroll through the Gator and Wildlife Park where you can see lemurs, sloths, zebras, and other animals native to South America, Africa, and Australia.

Scenic Boat Ride & Winter Park Tour ($122 per person)
Downtown Winter Park’s charm is magnified in its details: hidden gardens and side streets that are home to unique stores, a farmer’s market that attracts both locals and visitors alike, and festive parades that make the seasons. The Scenic Boat Tour cruises through three of the city’s lakes and border the area’s most prestigious homes. The relaxing, narrated, one-hour, 12-mile cruise through the lakes and canals is really the only way to see the true beauty of Winter Park. Running through the heart of Winter Park is Park Avenue, bordered by a shady park that plays host to concerts and art festivals, Park Avenue is home to one-of-a-kind boutiques and well-known shops, sidewalk cafés, and world-renowned art collections in the local museums. As part of the tour, you will visit the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. It houses the most comprehensive collection found anywhere of the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany, a major collection of American art pottery, and fine collections of late-19th- and early-20th-century American paintings, graphics, and decorative arts.

Farris & Foster’s Chocolate Factory ($58 per person)
Enter the glorious world of chocolate! You are invited into Farris and Foster’s Famous Chocolate Factory to become a chocolatier. If you ever wanted to play in rivers, waterfalls, and bubbling vats of creamy, rich, dark, and milk chocolate, this is your chance! You can design and create your own chocolate delights! Take melted chocolate from the kettle and pour it into one of over 500 different shaped molds. Shapes include holiday designs, hearts, sports, music, suckers, baby-shower items, etc. Or take one of the premolded chocolate creations and decorate it with liquid chocolate. You can also dip strawberries, raspberries, bananas, and other fresh items or make small chocolate cups full of macadamias, almonds, coconut, or raisins. You’ll leave with one pound of chocolate, one caramel apple, and one tray of chocolate popcorn per person!
