James D. Abrams

James D. Abrams
Chief Executive Officer and President

James Abrams has served as our Chief Executive Officer and President and as Chairman of our board of directors since 1999. Mr. Abrams is a co-founder of Clockwork Home Services. In 1981, Mr. Abrams founded Air Experts, Inc., an HVAC service and replacement business in St. Louis. In 1990, Mr. Abrams co-founded Contractors Success Group, an HVAC consulting group. In 1996, Mr. Abrams co-founded Service Experts, Inc., the nation’s first publicly held HVAC services company. Mr. Abrams graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.A. in Business Administration.

Terry Nicholson

Terry Nicholson
Group President, Client Services

Terry Nicholson has served us as Group President, Client Services since June 2007. Mr. Nicholson joined Clockwork Home Services in 1999 and served as President of SGI from October 2000 to June 2007. He also served as a member of our board of directors from March 2004 through December 2006, and from 1996 to 1999 was National Sales Trainer for Service Experts, Inc., the nation's first publicly held HVAC services company. In 1994, Mr. Nicholson founded Key Results, Inc., a sales and motivational training company. Prior to founding Key Results, he served in a variety of roles at Tom Hopkins International, ultimately as Vice President of marketing and sales. Mr. Nicholson graduated from Missouri State University with a B.S. in Marketing.

Rebecca Cassel

Group President, Consumer Services

Rebecca W. Cassel has served as our Group President, Consumer Services since June 2007. Ms. Cassel served as our Director of Retail and Franchise Development from January 2007 through June 2007, and as President of Franchise Operations from April 2004 through December 2006. Ms. Cassel joined us in May 1999 as Vice President of Operations for SGI and served in that position until April 2004. From 1996 to 1997 Ms. Cassel served as the controller for Management Financial Services, Inc., in Nashville, TN. Ms. Cassel owned Airco Home Comfort in Winston-Salem, NC, from April 1998 to April 1999. Ms. Cassel graduated from Belmont University with a B.S. in Business Administration.

John Young

John Young
Chief Marketing Officer

John Young has served as a member of our board of directors since 1999. Mr. Young also served as our Chief Innovation Officer from January 1999 to January 2006. In 1984, Mr. Young co-founded and became president of Service America, the first franchisor in the HVAC industry. In 1986, he founded John Young & Associates, a consulting firm to the HVAC industry. In 1990, Mr. Young co-founded Contractors Success Group, an HVAC consulting group. In March 1996, Mr. Young co-founded Service Experts, Inc., the nation’s first publicly held HVAC service company. Mr. Young graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering.

Mike Diamond

Mike Diamond

Mike Diamond started as a plumbing technician when he was just 16. He became the youngest licensed contractor in the state of California. Since starting his own business out of his parents¹ garage, he has been involved in every aspect of the plumbing industry, including remodeling, new construction, and commercial, but today his focus is residential service. At every step of the way, his business has made money, be it from his parents¹ garage or from his current plumbing empire of over 100 trucks producing over $20 million dollars of annual revenue. He founded PSI to pass on to you the same knowledge, strategies, and systems he¹s used to build that empire in his 25 plus years in the plumbing business.

Lon Cassel

Lon Cassel
Vice President, Business Development

Lon Cassel is vice president of Business Development at Clockwork Home Services® and has 40 years of proven business success in the contracting industry. He also serves as president of Wealth Now, another Clockwork company, which is involved in mergers and acquisitions of HVAC, plumbing and electrical companies. Cassel also has a strong training background, helping HVAC and plumbing contractors to improve their profitability. He did this first as a consultant with Contractors Success Group members in the early ‘90s, then later as president of Future University, the training division of CSG. He joined Clockwork Home Services in 1999 and served as past president of Plumbers’ Success International®, and now as vice president of Business Development. As a contractor, over a 13-year period, he owned and operated seven companies in four states, selling three to Service Experts in 1997.
